We are situated near the Coed Llandegla Forest which is used by Mountain Biking enthusiasts as well as family cyclists.
The area now caters for a full spectrum of cycling ability, with a number of routes at all levels.
Mountain Biking
Coed Llandegla Forest, which borders our farm, has developed into a nationally renowned mountain bike hub, with good quality and popular facilities. It has over 44km of purpose built mountain bike trails including the Green Family route, Blue Route, Red Route and the Black Route for the more daring, experienced mountain bikers. They also offer skills courses and coaching for all abilities, bike hire for those who would like to give it a go and there’s an excellent award winning café on site too. We can also advise you on other routes in the area which are safe and away from the busy roads.
Road Cycling
The surrounding area is ideal for road biking, your rides around the area will capture scenic, breath-taking views and iconic Welsh landscapes including road climbs such as the Horse Shoe Pass, The Shelf, Nant y Garth Pass and Worlds End, all of which are within a 5 mile radius of the Campsite.
During August and September cycling events in the locality include the Mark Cavendish Rise above Sportive.
